BWB Complete a Second Acquisition

AWARD WINNING multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy BWB has announced another significant acquisition which is expected to broaden its range of services and extend the work it does for public sector and higher education clients.

The acquisition of long-established QMP is part of a long-term strategic plan to expand a group which now has a significant presence in London, major provincial cities, and a broad range of major private sector clients.

QMP, which is led by Anthony Hart and Martin Strong, becomes part of the enlarged BWB Group. BWB directors Stefan Zalega and Matt Allcard – along with Group Finance Director Paul Collins – join its board.

Established in 1974, QMP is based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire and also has an office in Cambridge. It has a strong reputation for its building surveying, project management and quantity surveying expertise, particularly among clients in the public sector.

It delivers contracts via public sector framework agreements, and its acquisition by BWB opens up the opportunity to deliver a wider range of services as part of a larger, multi-disciplinary group that has significant experience of large-scale project delivery in the private sector.
